Thanks for the views and that should be the ideal situation. More often blame comes to testers if some thing is missed out though there are many reasons behind the same and some times these many not even be in the control of software testers.</description>

		<description>Anecdotally, I used to see quality assurance as being an independent division from the software development organization, providing an objective third party review of the product and stopping it from release if necessary.  Over time, this draconian, even anti-collaborative approach has resulted in delays, miscommunication and discord.  I&#039;m starting to see more cooperation and coordination between QA and development and a healthy appreciation that quality needs to be built right from the start from specification to design to coding, not as a final test and approval stage.</description>
